1. Shipping
We process orders as quickly as possible, typically within 1 to 2 business days of payment confirmation. During busy periods or high-volume releases, processing may take slightly longer.
We ship orders using trusted carriers, which may include PostNL and DHL. The carrier and service level available to you will be shown at checkout.
Shipping costs are calculated based on destination, weight, and selected service, and are displayed clearly at checkout before you complete your order.
Delivery time estimates are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times depend on the carrier, destination, customs processing, and other factors outside our direct control.
Tracking may be provided depending on the shipping method you select and the destination. Where available, tracking information will be sent to your email address once your order has been dispatched.
International orders may be subject to customs inspections, import duties, taxes, and other charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.
2. Damaged / Lost Orders
We pack every order carefully to ensure your items arrive in the best possible condition. However, if your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, please contact us as soon as possible.
Reporting a problem:
- You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery to report damage, missing items, or incorrect contents.
- Please email contact@hbgamesandcards.com with your order number and a clear description of the issue.
- We may ask for clear photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and the affected item(s) to assess the damage and process your claim.
For lost shipments, we will assist you in opening an investigation with the carrier. Please note that investigation outcomes depend on the carrier's own processes and policies, and may take several days to resolve. If the carrier confirms the parcel as lost, we will arrange a suitable resolution with you.
3. Returns
We accept returns in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection law. Customers within the European Union may have the right to return eligible products within 14 days of receiving their order, where this right legally applies.
Please note that return shipping costs are generally the responsibility of the customer, unless the item was defective, damaged, or incorrectly sent by us.
To initiate a return, contact us at contact@hbgamesandcards.com with your order details and reason for return. We will provide you with return instructions.
4. Single Cards
Single cards are subject to specific return conditions due to their collectible nature and value:
- Single cards may only be returned if the exact originally supplied item is returned to us.
- Returned cards must be in the same condition as when they were shipped. Any change in condition may result in a refused return.
- All returned single cards are carefully inspected for signs of tampering, swapping, damage, or condition changes.
- If we determine that a returned card is not the original item sent, or that its condition has been altered, the return will be refused and the card returned to you at your expense.
- Refunds may be refused if abuse of our return policy is suspected.
5. Sealed Products
Sealed products (such as booster boxes, tins, structure decks, and other factory-sealed items) have the following return conditions:
- Sealed products may only be returned if they are completely unopened, factory sealed, and in their original condition.
- Any product that has been opened, tampered with, resealed, or damaged by the customer is not eligible for return.
- The only exceptions are if the product was defective upon arrival or if the wrong item was sent. In these cases, the damage or error must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with supporting evidence.
- We reserve the right to inspect all returned sealed products to verify they have not been opened or tampered with.
6. Refunds
Once a return has been received and approved, refunds will be processed through the original payment method used for the purchase.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and your bank. Typically, you can expect to see the refund in your account within 5 to 14 business days after we approve the return, though some payment methods may take longer.
We will notify you by email once your return has been inspected and your refund has been issued. If a refund cannot be processed to the original payment method, we will contact you to arrange an alternative.
